RANGANATHA TEMPLE
This temple is famous and is considered equal to Lord Vishnu Temple at Srirangam and the deity is called Talpagiri Ranganatha Swamy. It is the most frequented by tourists. The most famous temple on the southern bank of the River Pennar, The Galigopuram of the temple is 29 m high and has seven gold Kalasams the first entrance to the temple.
The most picturesque sight with its high-definition the Addalamantapam (mirror parlour) is the most important and attractive aspect in the temple. Arranged at proper angles with an elevated and decorated seat for the Lord in the centre, it is walled with high-class mirrors.

The temple is known for its architectural values. Over 600 years old, Ranganatha Temple observes an annual festival of Rath Yatra (chariot festival) every year.
